AVT Simulation Delivers AGT to The Air Pirates Utah National Guard

ORLANDO, FL – September 8th, 2023 – AVT Simulation, a leading provider of advanced training solutions for the military and aviation industries, is proud to announce the successful delivery of two Apache Gunnery Trainers (AGT)® to the 1st Attack/Reconnaissance Battalion, 211th Aviation Regiment, affectionately known as “The Air Pirates.”

The 1-211th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion is renowned for its unwavering commitment to excellence in executing its Federal and State missions. Their Federal mission involves the destruction of enemy armored, mechanized, and massed forces through aerial firepower, mobility, and shock effect, as well as performing aerial reconnaissance and screening operations in support of a Combat Aviation Brigade. In its State mission capacity, the 1-211th ARB stands ready to provide nationwide aviation, personnel, and equipment support to Joint Force Headquarters and civil authorities during emergency situations and homeland defense operations.

Matt Jordon, a representative from AVT Simulation who attended the delivery, reported that the overall delivery of the Apache Gunnery Trainers (AGT)® was a resounding success and well-received by “The Air Pirates.” According to Mr. Jordon, “The customer loved the devices and immediately started competing with each other for high scores on TFC and Switchology.”

CW2 Bittner, Pilot in Command (PC) of the 1-211th ARB, expressed his satisfaction with the AGT training solution, stating, “AGT provides low-effort, high-payoff entry-level training for junior pilots without requiring IP supervision.” CW4 Vandremmelen, Instructor Pilot (IP), added, “It’s an easily transportable training tool to hone basic gunnery skills.”
