The Government has awarded AVT Simulation, an Orlando-based Simulation and Training company, an IDIQ prime contract to provide Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) for the Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT) program.  This contract, awarded by the Army Program Executive Office Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), has a base year plus four option years and is valued at a not-to-exceed ceiling of $49.4M.   CCTT is the U.S. Army’s largest training program and supports training of Infantry, Armor, Mechanized Infantry, Cavalry and Armored Reconnaissance units from squad through battalion/squadron level, to include their staffs, throughout the world.  The contract team led by AVT Simulation is composed entirely of small businesses and/or small disadvantaged businesses.  AVT Simulation selected Advanced Systems Technology, Inc., Daedalus Technologies, Dignitas Technologies, and Wave Enterprises as team members based on its rigid vetting process and history of providing superior support to the customer.  AVT Simulation’s long and exceptional history with this very important PEO STRI customer coupled with its ISO certification, innovative management and technical approach, and proven customer support philosophy proved successful for this competition.
