| AVT Simulation Adds a Visual System Demonstrator to its New Laboratory Facility.

AVT Simulation, an Orlando-based Simulation and Training company, is proud to announce that a new Visual System Demonstrator is now operational in their expanded laboratory facility. The initial configuration consists of a partial spherical dome with a 3-channel Barco Sim7 projector display driven by a 3-channel CATI X-IG image generator. The Demonstrator is reconfigurable to support several AVT projects advancing, investigating and applying visual simulation technology. The projectors perform all display alignment and blending functions independent of the IG allowing flexible change out of IG types. AVT develops databases for a variety of IG types and the demonstrator can display the databases during development reviews on their target IG in a display similar to the ultimate user’s display closely matching its resolution, brightness and contrast. The reconfigurable demonstrator will also allow investigation of solution alternatives, visual configuration concept demonstrations and visual component evaluations in a visual system environment.
